GlassDeck turns any phone or tablet into a fully customizable macro controller connected to your desktop over your local network — a direct competitor to Elgato’s Stream Deck hardware, without the hardware cost.
How It Works
GlassDeck is a two-part system:
- Desktop App — Runs on your computer, configures your button layouts, and executes actions: keystrokes, hotkeys, launching apps, controlling OBS, Twitch, Spotify, and more.
- Mobile App — Runs on your phone or tablet, displays your button grid, and sends button presses to the desktop app over WebSocket.
The two apps communicate over your local WiFi network via mDNS auto-discovery and QR-code pairing — no cloud account required.
